The Los Angeles Times in its driving tour of Victorian and Craftsman architecture in Claremont. Architect David Underwood and artist Millard Sheets, whose work is featured on buildings throughout Southern California, designed the theater in 1963. The theater’s façade features mosaics of scenes from Shakespeare’s plays.
